2019
To be more mindful: There were no measurable goals included in my 2019 resolutions
2018
Just a PhD: There were no measurable goals included in my 2018 resolutions other than submitting my PhD thesis [Success: Submitted my thesis on 31 October 2018]
2017
The year of doing: There were no measurable goals included in my 2017 resolutions other than doing my PhD with the hope of submitting my thesis [Failures abounded: 2017: Undone, indeed]
2016
Half marathon goal: My primary goal for 2016 was to run a sub-2:00:00 half marathon, but a broken ankle in July meant I couldn’t achieve the goal [Failure: The goal that wasn’t meant to be]
Revamped 2016 running goals: I changed my 2016 goal to a simple post-broken ankle 5K, which I managed in December [Success: Revamped running resolutions realised]
2015
Hope and optimism: I set an overarching goal to be more hopeful and optimistic throughout 2015. It wasn’t overly measurable, but it was a good reminder of my mental and emotional outputs over the year. [Not really a success or failure: Wrapping up 2015]
Running goals: I set a general running goal of shaving time off my full and half marathon times. [Failure.]
List of 10 measurable goals: I had a list of 10 “to-dos” for the year, and managed with only limed success.
