Almost all mines

The last couple of days have been spent in Okanogan County visiting lots of awesome people. And lots of old mines. So, it’s been a pretty awesome couple of days.

My journey began on Friday with a nice drive over Blewett Pass (again!) on my way to Pateros to meet with a friend and his son. Then it was onto Omak to see my sister, Jessica, and her family – complete with a big Sunday dinner with a great number of her in-laws. Then today was spent driving and hiking around the hills above Omak looking at old silver mines and stuff. 

Once again, I won’t bore you with loads of words and information, and will instead just share some photos with you; in part, because I’m kind of exhausted. So, enjoy!
