Birthday celebrations

Birthdays are to be celebrated. Always. Even if that celebration is as simple as an inward smile and the reflection on happy memories of birthdays past.

Today, I celebrate Paul’s birthday here on Earth, whilst he celebrates in the Kingdom of Heaven above. Today, I reflect on all of the birthday celebrations we shared in the past and I pray that my memories bring me more joys than sorrow; I pray that my faith reminds me that I am not alone even though my beloved is not standing here beside me.
