I wish I had
I wish I had
by Just Frances
I wish I had the courage
to say what I want to say;
I wish I had the self-confidence
to know that it’s OK to say it.
I wish I had a window to the future;
I wish I had a magic wand
to make all my wishes come true.
I wish I had the courage
to do what I want to do;
I wish I had the self-confidence
to know that it’s OK to do it.
I wish I had a window to the future;
I wish I had a magic wand
to make all my wishes come true.
I wish I had all of those things too.
But then again, how would I grow without all the cruddy stuff? Without having to work my way through things?
Wait, no, I wish I had all those things too.
i find it soooo easy to talk myself out of doing, to talk myself down from feeling confident about something i’ve sweated over. it sucks
and yes, i wish i had a magic wand to wish away the little voice of doubt in my head so i could go out and experience the cruddy stiff, etc instead of runnign away and procrastinating
good luck
You have all those things already, Frances. You just either haven’t found them yet or haven’t realised you’ve got them.
Thanks, ladies! I guess I’ve really lost my courage and self-confidence. I used to have them everywhere I went, but I keep forgetting to take them with me these days.
I feel like a meek mouse some days instead of the roaring tiger I used to be!
I’m working on it though. Maybe I can start slow and be a house cat for a bit. Then move up to bobcat for a spell…
….. take it from me, miss out cougar! 😉
