Tulips: Day 4

Day 4 and the tulips are really on the move now. They’re starting to have that casual look I love so much. Each flower has opened up a bit so you can see a bit more of the colour variances, which is nice.

As the stems begin to curve a bit, I’m realising that even though there may be growth, the tops of the flowers won’t necessarily extend as tall from the mantle – but I suppose that the distance bloom-to-bloom will show a bit of that. But anyhow… today’s measurements are 20″ tall and 13 1/2″ across. That’s an inch taller than yesterday and 2 1/2″ more across.
